The joint approach is particularly well adapted when technical solutions have to be studied in order to meet the requirements of standards. The ASRH therefore undertakes work with the aim of providing technical and scientific data to support considerations relating to standards within the watchmaking federation. In the wider context of compliance with legislation (REACH, RoHS, etc.) it also proposes projects which aim to study alternatives adapted to any evolution in legislation. The limits of alternative materials, the impact of replacing certain substances and the potential of new procedures are thus evaluated
